We believe it’s more important than ever for our Members of Congress to have open and honest conversations with the people they represent. Unfortunately, Representative Derrick Van Orden has yet to hold an in-person town hall meeting with his constituents.*Recently, Rep. Van Orden voted for massive cuts to Medicaid, SNAP, and clean energy tax credits that will raise costs and threaten Wisconsin jobs, all while giving new tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy. With this vote, he broke the promises he made to his constituents. His vote will make it harder for families in his district to stay afloat. Rep. Van Orden’s constituents deserve the opportunity to tell him how this will impact their lives and to ask him to stop cutting services they rely on.
