You are invited to the third Central Ontario Sacred Harp Convention.We will sing shape note ("fasola") music from The Sacred Harp, 1991 edition (the “Denson Book”). Singers and listeners alike are welcome to attend all or part of our full weekend of singing.
***Weekend Schedule***
FRIDAY AUGUST 23 7:30 p.m.
Warm up with an evening of singing from Shenandoah Harmony. (Limited loaners available.)

***Parking***
There is limited free parking at Friends House and on the surrounding streets. There are several paid parking lots close by, marked in green on the flyer map (link is posted in "Discussion" on this event page). The St. George subway station is also just a few minutes’ walk from Friends House.
***Accommodations and Rides***
We are offering limited housing accommodations for out-of-town singers and arranging carpools for travel to Detweiler on Sunday. Please contact Em Ekelund <emilyekelund> for more information.
As hotels and Airbnbs in Toronto’s downtown core can be expensive, budget-conscious travelers might consider an Airbnb in a nearby neighbourhood. If you search “Midtown Toronto” on Airbnb, there are units available for reasonable rates.
