Who gets to define what cool is? How closely is it tied to one’s class or cultural capital?
Is cool at the margins or in the mainstream?
Join us for an intimate discussion guided by prompts from Dr. Ece Tekbulut. Inspired by Socratic Dialogue, we'll explore the topic of love through questions and shared reflection.
Suggested readings will be on Substack closer to the event for those who’d like to ease into the theme.

About Dr. Ece Tekbulut
Ece Tekbulut is a political philosopher and cultural entrepreneur based in New York. She earned her PhD from Columbia University in 2025, where she has spent over seven years teaching ethics and political philosophy.
Through Thinking Through Social Club, she brings these themes into an intimate, salon-style setting, creating space for people to pause, reflect, and practice meaningful conversation together.
