Thinking of You: Edward Gorey Card Making

Just in time for Valentine’s Day – and Edward Gorey’s February 22nd birthday – You’re invited to join staff from the Free Library of Philadelphia’s Special Collections Division as they teach visitors how to make a simple pop-up card inspired by art from Edward Gorey’s macabre alphabet book, The Gashlycrumb Tinies. First published in 1963, The Gashlycrumb Tinies is one of the works featured in , open now through February 28th, 2026.
