Think Like An Engineer: Free Workshop by Torbotic

Houston Engineering & Robotics Workshops by Torbotic is a Houston-based workshop series created to make engineering and robotics education more accessible to local learners.

We host free workshops that explore how engineers think, break down complex problems, design solutions, test ideas, learn from failure, and improve through iteration. Topics include the engineering mindset, engineering design, the engineering method, systems thinking, prototyping, troubleshooting, and how these practices connect to robotics.

No prior experience is required. Each workshop is designed to make engineering and robotics approachable, practical, and engaging for curious learners throughout the Houston area.

Attendees should be at minimum 13 years of age and require parental approval.

TXRX is a 65,000 square-foot makerspace on the East End of Houston, TX. This event is in collaboration with both TXRX and the Houston Robotics Group.

For any attendee aged 13-17 years of age, parents are welcome to either remain in the lobby which has several couches and seats, engage with the Houston Robotics Group, who will be in the lobby are hosting the weekly event, or join us in the presentation.
