Join Plant the Power and Black Men Build Columbus for a screening of "They're Trying To K*ll Us", a documentary highlighting the benefits of plant-based vegan living for Black and Brown communities while also exploring the unique intersections of food, disease, race, poverty, institutional racism and government corruption. This film screening will take place at Columbus College of Art & Design (CCAD) - Canzani Center.
We are excited to share that the film co-director, John Lewis, will be joining us following the screening for a moderated Q&A session!
We will kick-off with a happy hour showcasing local Black-owned vegan businesses and end with a moderated Q&A with film co-director, John Lewis following the film. We look forward to supporting your plant-based journey through community, good food and reflective dialogue.
