THEYFRIEND: Enby Visible!

Just because the United States government is now choosing to only recognize binary gender identity doesn’t mean we’re any less nonbinary! In fact, we’re ratcheting up our gender non-conformity and we want to make sure EVERYONE sees!

Join the THEYFRIEND Nonbinary Performance Festival and local queer photographer Marcella Sanchez at Pacific Felt Factory on Saturday, March 29, 12 - 3 PM. We’re offering FREE portraits for nonbinary performers and we’ll be joining together to take a nonbinary community photo that will be shared on Diamond Wave’s social media channels for Trans Day of Visibility (March 31, 2025).

If you would like to sign up for a portrait:

• Individual or group portrait participants must reserve their spot by purchasing a $20 ticket. This ticket will be refunded when you arrive at the event. 
• Each portrait session will be 10 minutes and result in 3 - 5 high-quality headshots. 
• Although we will provide space for you to change and zhuzh your look, please arrive as ready to go as possible and at least 15 - 20 minutes before your scheduled portrait session.

We’ll provide snacks, drinks and great tunes on our private patio throughout the event, so come mix and mingle with nonbinary community, and be visible!

For those that only want to show up for the community photo opportunity, please arrive by 2:20 PM so we can be sure to include you.

Accessibility Information:

• Masking encouraged with KN95 masks available at the door (If you are feeling sick, please stay home)
• All gender restroom
• Wheelchair accessible, with 6 steps to enter through the non-wheelchair accessible entrance
• Access to quiet space
