theSadboiWRLD presents: The Forgotten Toybox

Join us for 'The Forgotten Toybox' Exhibit & Workshop, curated by theSADBOIWRLD and co-hosted by Let Her Talk and Symposia, on October 12 at 6PM at Solid State HQ. Inspired by the 1964 classic 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys,' this event is a metaphor for forgotten dreams and remembering them on the road to self discovery and reflection. Through art and discussion, participants will contribute to an interactive installation that represents a story of where we might have lost our desire to imagine. The exhibit is also a fundraiser for our December 2024 show in Lagos, Nigeria, with funds raised through GoFundMe to cover logistical costs and support the crew. Join us for an evening of creativity and rediscovery.
