The LeBron James Family Foundation’s House Three Thirty welcomes Akron’s own Theron Brown, an accomplished jazz pianist and a leader in Akron arts community, to the stage of the Iconic Cabaret. Theron brings his soulful artistry and impact for an inspiring performance for all ages.
Inspired by glimpses of gospel, jazz, and soul from the great legends Founder of Rubber City Jazz & Blues Festival, Theron Brown birthed a sound that has made great impact around the world. Alumni of The University of Akron, Theron now serves as Jazz Piano Performance Professor. In addition to producing his own recordings and commissioned works, Brown has performed with the Cleveland Orchestra, Akron Symphony, Cleveland Jazz Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, and the Glenn Miller Orchestra. Brown is a current member of UA’s Arts Advancement Council and is the I Promise School Art Coordinator.
While at House Three Thirty, guests are welcome to enjoy all of the venue’s unique offerings that will be available for purchase. Visit Akron’s first community model Starbucks, grab a bite to eat in Secret Pizza, enjoy a scoop or sundae from The Sweet Shop featuring Mitchell’s Ice Cream and local favorites, and experience the world’s only museum dedicated to the kid from Akron, LeBron James’ Home Court.
House Three Thirty is open Monday – Thursday (6am – 5pm), Friday (6am – 9pm), and Saturday (8am – 9pm).
Tickets for the experience at House Three Thirty will be scanned at the door.
A special food menu from Secret Pizza and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the event.
On-site parking is free.
