Welcome to the enchanting world of clay creations!Join Jean Skipper on Saturday, July 6th from 1:00 to 4:00 to craft a One-of-a-Kind North Carolina Pottery Bird, Fairy, or Toad House that will add a touch of magic to your home. Whether you want to personalize your creation with your family name or address, or simply let your imagination run wild with intricate designs and textures, the possibilities are endless. Your finished House will be safe for use indoors or outdoors, and should be moved inside when the temperature dips below freezing.
The sky is the limit as you form, texture, shape, and embellish these treasures, and the pieces that you make are sure to become family heirlooms. (They make wonderful gifts too!)
This all inclusive price of $69 includes instruction in clay handling, design, slab construction and texturing, tool usage, glaze selection, and 2 kiln firings. The entire finishing process can take up to 4 weeks. We will text you when your pottery is ready for pickup.
Optional: add 2 mini creatures to go with your house for an additional $15. Be sure to select option at registration.
Important Information:
Beginners are welcome.
Children age 14 and older may attend class independently.
Children under age 14 may join this class if a responsible adult also registers to attend and participate with them.
At ARTworks Vass, you're always welcome to bring your own Nibbles and Sips to class.
Registration allows for one Guest per class project.
Only Registered Guests may attend class.
Registrations are non-refundable.
Class starts promptly as scheduled.
Dress to mess or bring an apron.
