RAWdance’s 2026 theatrical season, There and Back, features three exciting Bay Area premieres. Art is a Guarantee of Sanity, originally commissioned for St. Louis’ MADCO, draws haunting imagery and inspiration from author Susannah Cahalan’s memoir “Brain on Fire” and from select works by visual artist Louise Bourgeois. The premiere of Veneer combines a new, original score by composer Eric Dietz with a dynamic ensemble cast and three tables. And Co-Artistic Directors Ryan T. Smith and Wendy Rein's long history as dance partners shines through a new duet that folds in discarded fragments of RAWdance past.Thursday, Feb. 5 at 7:30pm
