Dawson's life was marked by trauma and tragedy from a young age, the scars of which ran deep into his psyche. His father, a once-loving man, had succumbed to the siren call of the bottle, drowning his sorrows and responsibilities in an endless sea of liquor.

Dawson's mother, a fierce and protective force, stands as a pillar between her son and the drunken rages of his father; desperatly trying to save Dawson from the worst of the abuse, absorbing the blows both physical and emotional.

The damage is done. But even then, in the darkest of times, a glimmer of hope will emerge. For Dawson, his breakthrough would come from the very depths of his breakdown, as he struggles in THERAPY to make sense of the chaos that had defined his childhood.
