Memorial Day Ruck: Honoring Our Heroes
Join us for the Memorial Day Ruck hosted by Therapy Partners of North Texas in Haslet. This community event is a unique way to pay tribute to our military heroes while promoting physical fitness and camaraderie.
What is a Ruck? A ruck is essentially a walk with a purpose. Participants carry weighted backpacks or rucksacks, symbolizing the burdens our service members bear. However, you don’t have to carry weight if you prefer a lighter experience. The focus is on unity, support, and honoring those who have served.

Purpose: To come together as a community, show appreciation for our military, and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
How It Works:
Gathering: Meet at the Haslet Community Park at 7:30 AM.
Rucking: Participants can choose their distance—whether it’s a short stroll or a more challenging trek. Feel free to ruck with or without weight; the choice is yours.
Comradery: Connect with fellow participants, share stories, and enjoy the sense of community.
The city of Haslet has a Memorial Day Event at 10AM in the park after the ruck! So stick around!
