Pine River Library will host ”Theodore Roosevelt and the American West,” a lecture by Dr. Andrew Gulliford on Wednesday, September 29 from 6-7:30 pm. Dr. Gulliford is a Fort Lewis College Professor, writer, historian, and recipient of the 2019 Colorado Book Award. Gulliford will speak about President Theodore Roosevelt, and in particular Roosevelt's connections with Southwest Colorado and his establishment of the San Juan National Forest.
