IIDR once again brings to you a unique Ramadan Quran course. All 114 chapters of the Quran cover a countless range of topics and invaluable lessons, but sometimes these messages can be difficult to understand without an effective learning approach.
By studying the Quran in a new way - theme by theme - you can appreciate the simple meaning of this revelation to your everyday lives. Over the past few years, IIDR has delivered this unique Thematic Study of the Quran course and covered topics such as Allah, love, the heart, parenting, satan, spirituality, mental health, water, wealth, politics, ethics and other topics.
The six themes to be covered in this year's course are: *Humans, Animals
Jinn, Men, Women and Children*
Humans
* The Quran's perspective on human creation, purpose, and potential
* Exploring human nature and human psychology
* Insights into human relationships, and struggles
Animals
* Overview of all the animals mentioned in the Quran
* Symbolism and lessons from animals in the Quran
* Understanding the role of animals in the natural world and human life
* Reflections on compassion, stewardship, and the interconnectedness of creation
Jinn
* The Quran's depiction of jinn: their nature, abilities, and interactions with humans
* Insights into spiritual influences, whispers, and protection against evil
* Understanding the unseen world and its impact on human life
Men
* Quranic perspectives on men's roles, responsibilities, and challenges
* Themes like leadership, accountability, and spiritual growth
* Exploring masculinity, relationships, and purpose
* Psychology of men
* Gender interaction
* Overview of key men mentioned in the Quran
Women
* The Quran's portrayal of women: strength, wisdom, and contributions
* Themes like motherhood, relationships, and spiritual equality
* Insights into women's roles, rights, and empowerment in Islam

* Overview of all the places in the Quran where children have been mentioned

Taught by Shaykh Sharif H. Banna who is a scholar, author and entrepreneur. He is Chairman of the Islamic Institute for Development & Research (IIDR) in the UK and a Board Member of Maqasid Institute (USA). He has taught courses on Islamic Law and Ethics at Oxford University and was a Founding Advisory Board Member of the Research Center for Islamic Legislation and Ethics (CILE) based at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar Foundation.
