Thehrav • The Ghazal Project

140~160 mins // UA // Music
Thehrav is a Ghazal project produced by Para Share that brings together the timeless poetry of the ghazals with the depth, nuance, and improvisational beauty of music.
At its heart, Thehrav is about pausing; allowing a word to linger, a melody to breathe, and an emotion to unfold without hurry.
Featuring a distinctive ensemble of vocalists and instrumentalists, the project explores the many shades of the ghazal: love and longing, separation and remembrance, silence and surrender, joy and melancholy. Classical sensibilities meet the expressive world of contemporary ghazal performance, creating an experience that is intimate, immersive, and deeply human.
Rather than treating the ghazal simply as a song, Thehrav approaches it as a conversation between poetry and music, where every word has weight, every silence has meaning, and every note has room to stay.
Produced & Presented by Para Share.
Vocalists: Saneyee Purandare Bhattacharjee, Dr Prachi Kane Chakradeo
Sarangi: Dr Suhail Yusuf Khan
Tabla: Eman Hashimi
