Theatrical Training Workshop: Stage Management with Emily Jewett

An indispensable member of every theatrical production team is the stage manager. The stage manager is integral in maintaining the artistic integrity of the production and running the show once the performances start. Throughout the entire show process, the stage manager is the hub of communication and organization for all pieces of the show. In this workshop, we will go over a stage manager’s process from pre-production set up and auditions through performances and everything in between. We will also discuss preferred tools of the trade and how a stage manager’s process can be adapted to different situations that can arise. The workshop is beneficial for all levels of stage management experience.
