Theatre of the Alive is a living invitation back in to that place.
Here, we explore your deeper current of honest, embodied expression. We move. We speak. We disrupt our own patterns. We meet each other and the parts of ourselves that are powerful, awkward, brilliant, grieving, funny, tender, confrontational...alive. We meet our humanity directly; not as something to fix, but as something to create FROM.
In these two-and-a-half-hours, we work with voice, movement, imagination and raw impulse;
expanding your capacity to express what is actually living in you.
Through guided, theatre-based practices and embodied exploration, you will:
* Engage with a deeper path of expression - beyond habit, personality, and polish.
* Strengthen your instincts, learning to trust what arises moment-to-moment.
* Unlock a fuller spectrum of your voice - the power, poetry and precision that is always available.
* Expand your emotional and creative range, giving you more colours to work with in any moment.
* Bring more of your real self onto the ‘stage’; with potency, tenderness and truth.
* Create with what is alive in you, instead of waiting for the ‘perfect conditions’.
* Viscerally shift out of perfectionism and into bold, imperfect expression
For the artists, creators, thinkers, feelers - and anyone who knows there is more inside them than they are currently living. No acting experience required, as this is not for ‘performers’ - this is for those DONE with performing.

Maja is a director, mentor and poet who plays in the sandbox of the mythic. For over a decade she worked nationally and internationally as an actor, director and theatre-maker.
Additionally having worked for 15 years in the field of expression; facilitating, teaching and MC'ing. She’s here to serve the ones who WILL, those with a big message and an even bigger heart.
She speaks, makes and mentors around the central premise of - we are ALL artists at heart, because real, live, honest humanity makes for the best art.
She has a unique knack for guiding people into their most potent and unapologetic expression.
Her advocacy is for the sensitive revolutionaries. Those devoted to sincere mastery.

“This container was beyond anything I had experienced, or conceived. Maja held the space with a masterful grace, inviting the edges of self to both be expanded and honoured in equal measure.
I was irrevocably inspired by the weaving of unwavering reverence, truth, safety and attunement, deeply engrained into the culture of this program from the first step into the room. It stretched and invited so much more than I knew of myself.
....What became apparent as the weeks went on, was that it was less about the theatre, although it was the practical focal piece, it was about attuning to the fabric, detail and richness of reality and myth and weaving them together with such mastery that life itself becomes the show.
