Join us on the second Thursday of the month at Newcastle City Library to celebrate a thriving zine culture in Newcastle through creativity and connection. Whether you are just starting out, a seasoned zine-maker, or just want to get creative and have some fun, the Zine Club welcomes all.
Zine-making blends writing, art, collage and DIY publishing and offers a platform for a wide range of creative expression.
Sessions are self-directed and peer-led with assistance from community-engagement artist Nina Katsmarski. The club will support The Zine Project, with part of the session dedicated to folding zines to distribute to Zine Street libraries in the local community.
