Helping to build future business owners!
The Southern California Black Chamber of Commerce was established to help local black-owned businesses with referral’s, contract bid information, networking opportunities, along with workshops and seminars.
Our goal of the workshop is to help support and inspire young black youth interested in one day owning and operating their own business.
The Chamber is looking for 30 African-American Inland Empire youth between the ages of 15 and 18.
The workshop will be held in the city of San Bernardino at Youth Build Charter School located at 555 N. Arrowhead Ave. from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The day will consist of sharing, planning, and developing. Below is a breakdown of the workshop.
1. Vision Boarding - The type of business you would one day like to own.
Developing - Getting started! How to put it in action.
2. Consulting - Learning from the experts!
3. Marketing and Promotion Tips - Branding your business.
4. Pitching - How to seek funding.
Mentorship - Leads on organizations working with young black entrepreneurs.
