As another year draws to a close, Stardome presents The Year in Space 2025 - our annual recap of the astronomical and space-exploration highlights of the year presented in our fulldome planetarium.This is your chance to catch-up on the year's biggest space stories, including Project Artemis, Methanesat, Starship explosions, new discoveries on Mars and... Katy Perry?!
You'll also see the first images from the Vera Rubin Telescope and new images from James Webb Space Telescope, and some of the winning entries from the New Zealand Astrophotographer of the Year Awards, for a unique perspective of the cosmos from our place in Aotearoa.
Bookings essential. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for shows. Late entry into the planetarium is not possible once the show has started.
Free for annual pass holders.
