The Yards look forward to returning to the Replay Lounge for an early matinee show on Sunday, March 30! We hope you'll join us on the patio from 6:00 to 9:00pm. $10 cover.
The Yards are a funk/soul/fusion instrumental quartet whose current lineup features Bradford Hoopes on keyboards, Michael Hamm on guitar, Mario Vlasic on bass, and Kelly White on drums. Since their inception in November of 2000, The Yards have focused primarily on writing and performing original music, occasionally adding a carefully selected cover to acknowledge some of their greatest influences: The Meters, Medeski Martin & Wood, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder, and many more.
In addition to maintaining an active live performance schedule, The Yards have released two full-length studio albums (The Yards in 2000, Wit’ in 2006), have contributed to two compilation albums (Wilson Chance: The Sound of Danger in 2004, Boogaloo Tribute to Jack McDuff in 2005), and have produced a number of self-released live albums. The Yards have opened for such nationally known acts as John Scofield, Toots and the Maytals, and Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe.
