From the desk of John Bosserman:I believe that we, as writers and authors, are perfectly positioned to use regular newsletters to share our craft, build our audience and...ahem...sell more books!
I may not be an expert on how to do this in the writing world, but for years, I've made digital and print newsletters for others. Naturally, I've always struggled making one for myself. So, in the past few months, I've done some research, sought out writers using newsletters successfully and have come up with an approach that I believe can help narrow down the options and serve as a content guideline for those of us wanting to "put ourselves out there" in newsletter form. Let's explore this together!
Presenter Bio:
From his book bio, John Bosserman, writing as J.R. Westman, says he has worked as a parts assembler, park ranger, investigative journalist, talk show host, beauty pageant producer, salesperson, probation officer, corporate media manager, landlord, tourism entrepreneur, and marketing "guru." In his fiction writing, John draws from his vast life experiences to create new worlds where everything is possible and nothing is necessarily true.
In his mundane, day-to-day life, John serves as a contract marketing manager for for-profit and nonprofit organizations. He is obsessed with learning to bake the perfect loaf of bread, trying to play jazz piano and dreaming of someday getting another cat.
