In this workshop, Shelby will show you ways to finally break out of your comfort zone and progress your writing past a deep dark secret, to the dream you've been secretly working towards. This workshop is also for those of you who are ready to tattoo your no-so-secret hobby on your forehead for the world to see, and for the experienced writer who has fallen off their writing wagon and needs a little boost to get back on the horse.

Don't settle for a few moments of writing inspiration here and there! Come to Shelby's workshop and get ready to commit to the dedicated practice of craft that you've always craved.

Bring: whatever you want to write with (laptop, pen & paper, the blood of your enemies, etc.)

Do not bring: pitchforks, tomatoes, or a book titled "Top 100 Heckles".

Shelby Hogate is "technically" an award-winning author, pretty average human, and a horrifyingly detailed plotter. Most people know her as Shelby, but the members of the writer's group she leads have lovingly referred to her as "Queen", "Empress", "High Priestess", and an "A**hole". You can call her anything, really, as long as you don't call her a bad writer. (She will ugly cry to her therapist about it, and there's too much to talk about to waste precious session time on that.) Shelby has a passion for empowering other writers to chase after their dreams and encouraging others to let in as much whimsy, adventure, and depth that the universe will allow into their writing, and their lives.
