The Wound that Wouldn’t Heal: The Connection between Theodore Roosevelt’s 1902 Carriage Accident and His Death in 1919

Sunday, November 16th at 2pm (Eastern)

We are excited to be partnering for the first time with the Indiana Chapter of the Theodore Roosevelt Association to bring you a program about the connection between Teddy Roosevelt’s 1902 carriage accident and his later death in 1919.

Richard D. Feldman, MD will review the evidence that lead to his conclusion that the injuries he sustained in that catastrophic (and deadly) accident, in which his carriage collided with a street car in Massachusetts, were directly connected to his death 17 years later.

This event will be held in person at the Indiana Medical History Museum and streamed online. Registration is required.

***Important information for attendees: Advanced registration is required. Attendees will receive a link to join the event via Zoom 24 hours prior to the event. If you don't receive it by then, check your email junk folder or email us at [email protected]. Doors open for in person attendees at 5:10pm.

Please call 317-635-7329 or email [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns.
