The World Says Eat Me: The Food of Central America & Mexico

The basement of Iglesia Bautista Emanuel will be filled with the sight and scents of a variety of Central American and Mexican dishes. Church members will combine in teams representing their home country and serve up that nation's favorites. You can count on some good-natured competition! Tickets will be sold @ $2 each and diners can purchase from any or all of the countries represented.

This is a re-union of sorts for the The World Says Eat Me food group that last assembled pre-Covid in December of 2019. Many will tell you that our first stop at Iglesias Bautista Emanuel back in 2018 was among the favorites of the 100+ restaurants and congregations we visited from 2009 through 2019. We welcome you all back and extend an invite to those who may have heard the tale os TWSEM but never had an opportunity to attend.
