About this Event
Visiting Professor Mike Mekjian, owner of Russian River Vineyards, will present a class dedicated to exploring one of the most beloved and complex grape varieties - Pinot Noir. Discover its diverse expressions from renowned regions. Through guided tastings, you'll experience the delicate balance of flavors and aromas that make this grape so special, from bright cherry and raspberry notes to earthy and floral undertones. Perfect for all wine enthusiasts, hearing the information directly from the owner of the winery makes the experience much more special.
Fox School of Wine invites you to a fun-filled, guided wine tasting on Main Street. Executive Sommelier and Fox School of Wine Headmistress, Kirsten Fox, and her Wine Professors will present a well-paced tasting of five, approachable, under-$40 hidden gem wines that you may have overlooked in the aisles at your local liquor store.
You'll receive a tasting pour of each wine, stories and history about the winery, grapes, and region, food pairing ideas... plus our signature Blind Tasting Challenge, when we pour you a taste of a wine you've already explored in class to see if you can guess which one it is.
Don't we all deserve a little recess time?
