The World of Coffee

Explore how geography influences flavor while sampling a range of different coffees in this hands-on class. You will learn about processing, roasting, brewing, and terroir and the complex interplay of how each coffee comes to develop its unique flavor profile. Whether you're a coffee geek or just looking to try something new, this approachable class with Dawson Taylor's Director of Coffee and Coffee Educator welcomes you to appreciate coffee in a new way.

During the class, students will try coffee from Guatemala, Colombia, Ethiopia, Papua New Guinea, and Sumatra. At the end of the experience, each student will choose their favorite coffee of the day and select a freshly roasted bag of beans to brew at home.
