The Women’s Plug Session is a networking experience created to celebrate, connect, and empower women working throughout the music industry.
Whether you’re an artist, DJ, producer, engineer, photographer, videographer, manager, content creator, promoter, talent buyer, radio personality, or simply someone looking to break into the industry, this room was created with you in mind.
The music industry can often feel competitive and male-dominated. The Women’s Plug Session exists to create a welcoming space where women can build genuine relationships, exchange ideas, collaborate on projects, and open doors for one another.
This isn’t just networking... it’s community.
About the Host
The Women’s Plug Session is presented by MISSMOCHAMUSIC and powered by MKExpanded. Founded by Mocha Harris, MISSMOCHAMUSIC is a brand dedicated to creating meaningful experiences that empower women through community, connection, personal growth, and music. While music has always been at the heart of the brand, its mission has evolved to create spaces where women can support one another, build confidence, prioritize self-care, pursue their goals, and grow together. As someone who has spent years working in the music industry through artist management, talent buying, event production, and community programming, Mocha recognized that women often have fewer opportunities to connect, collaborate, and build genuine relationships in a traditionally male-dominated industry.
The Women’s Plug Session was created to help change that. Powered by MKExpanded, this mixer brings together women from every corner of the entertainment industry including artist, DJs, producers, engineers, photographers, videographers, managers, promoters, executives, and aspiring professionals to network, share resources, create opportunities, and build lasting relationships.
