Come and meet at the Orangery overlooking The Old Mansion House on Victoria Park as we delve into the history of the women of the Hill. What was it like to live on this side of town in Victorian St Helens times? From the life of servant girls of the working class, to the middle class women who carried out some of the beginnings of social work and nursing in the town. What happened on Cowley hill Lane between 1850-1920 for the women that lived there?

This is a fundraising event for Age UK Mid Mersey, with refreshments and raffle tickets to be purchased on the evening.
