Join us Wednesday, April 10, for an 85th anniversary screening of one of MGM's most memorable productions, 1939's THE WIZARD OF OZ. Judy Garland, Ray Bolger, Jack Haley, and Bert Lahr star in this glorious children's fantasy set in the magical land of Oz.To help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the MGM studio, radio host Steve Darnall ("Those Were the Days") will be our special guest in the lobby starting at 6 PM. He will be selling the current Spring 2024 issue of the "Nostalgia Digest" featuring a cover story article on MGM by film series program host Matthew Hoffman.
Theatre organist Jay Warren will be back to perform the pre-show music on the Mighty Wurlitzer at 6:30 PM.
NOTE: The WIZARD OF OZ matinee will be the following day, April 11, at 1 PM.
Admission is $12/$10 advance or $10 for the 1 PM matinee.
