Foundations of Alignment
Discover the principles of alignment, stability and awareness that support a strong and sustainable yoga practice.
Join Louise Hebblewhite of Sucram Yoga for a 2 part series of fully immersive Yoga Workshops rooted in alignment-based yoga principles, drawing on classical alignment methods, all Inspired by the precision and clarity of Iyengar yoga.
With over 20 years experience as a Yoga, Breathwork, and Meditation Teacher, Louise brings a grounded, compassionate, and highly skilled approach to the practice that supports both body and mind, all whilst exploring the subtle intelligence of alignment.
These workshops are not about achieving “Advanced” Postures, Instead, it is an invitation to explore the wisdom beneath the shapes from. It’s how we meet the body with awareness, precision, and care, and how intelligent alignment can support not only your yoga practice, but your wider life.
Each of the 2 workshops is designed to work systematically through a series of Standing, Twists, Seated, Supine, Inversions and Restorative Postures, using a wide range of props including walls, chairs, blocks, and belts.
This supportive environment allows us to adapt postures for different bodies and levels of experience, encouraging a practice that is both safe and deeply effective.
Alongside the physical practice, we will explore simple Breathwork (Pranayama) and A guided Relaxation (Savasana) creating more space for integration, nervous system balance, and clarity. There will be time over lunch for moments of inquiry and reflection, supporting a more embodied understanding of practice rather than a purely physical one.
Depth over performance, humility over achievement, and awareness over assumption.
