About this Event
"They're a band of brothers, like every good band should be" - Rob Baker [the Tragically Hip]
Well, the Wilderness is what you get when those six brothers from Kingston, ON spend ten years driving 100,000 miles for nothing but the love of rock n’ roll. Sometimes its songs that feel like therapy sessions where you find yourself oversharing about your weird relationship with your dad, or how you thought you'd be young forever. Other times, it's dancing with old roommates in your hometown's sweatiest dive bar, even though it's a Tuesday night and rent is due in the morning. No matter what, you'll hear the hardest-working, harmony-belting, saxophone-growling, cowboy-chord-strumming, tambourine throwing small-town rock n’ roll band that nobody's ever heard of, but everyone has always loved.

The Wilderness' Capital Music Award nominated sophomore album "Stranger's I Used to Love" was recorded in Ottawa, ON. That album has garnered roughly 450,000 streams since its release and charted as Billboard Canada 2024's #4 most active Indie release. We've had the fortune of opening for Frank Turner, Wild Rivers, the Beaches, the Blue Stones. the Trews, the Rural Alberta Advantage, I Mother Earth, and countless other bands across the 850 shows we've done together. Ask anyone who has seen this show before, they'll tell you it's not to be missed.
