WHAT TO EXPECT

An introduction to The Wideshot Programme, outlining the programme journey including the community workshops and the Close-Up Summer Residency.

Former Wideshot Programme alumni will reflect on their journey through the programme.

Panelists will discuss:

• What motivated them to apply
• Their experience participating in the programme
• How their creative practice has evolved since completing the programme

Fundamentals of Storytelling

This interactive workshop introduces participants to the core elements of storytelling for film and media. Through discussion and creative exercises, participants will explore how personal experiences, perspective, and narrative structure shape powerful stories.

The Wideshot Programme is supported by experienced filmmakers, media professionals, and creative practitioners who guide participants through storytelling, filmmaking, and creative development.

Lunch and light refreshments will be provided during the Open Day.

Food provided on the eday will include vegan/vegetarian options , and additional dietary requirements will be accommodated where possible.
