Presented in a fun “dueling designers” format, Martha will tackle the Elements of Design while Renee dives into the Principles, showcasing how each uniquely contributes to successful floral compositions in retail, wedding, and event work. Through live demonstrations, design analysis, and real-world applications, attendees will discover how intentional use of these foundational concepts creates stronger mechanics, greater visual interest, improved movement, harmony, balance, and emotional impact in floral work.The program continues with an interactive hands-on workshop focused on favorite industry techniques used to enhance and refine designs. Participants will explore creative skills including color shifting, detaching, framing techniques, leaf manipulation, and more — all designed to add polish, creativity, and versatility to their floral toolbox.Whether you’re refining your design eye or looking for fresh inspiration, this program blends education, artistry, and practical techniques you can immediately apply in the shop and event space.
