The Whole Sky All Diamonds is a rumination on loss of humanity and the dissolution of dreams, set in a tech company on the verge of explosive success… or possible death.
For the employees of Füfl, what started as a revolution — a dream not just of changing the internet, but transforming the very way humans communicate — has become a job… a grind.
But a pending merger and a new hire upend the orbit of everyone at the company.
Inspired by the worlds created by Anton Chekhov, the play examines how painful
it is to connect in this über-connected world. How do we say what needs to be said when we can’t find the words? Or when there are no words? It’s a comedy. Obviously.
The experience
You won’t watch this play. You’ll work in it. Set inside a real office, you’ll get your new employee orientation and training before diving into the exciting world of Füfl!
Move through it as new employees. The DM message PINGs will go off around you. The boss will come over the loudspeaker above your head. Actors are three desks away. You only have to answer one question:
