Mike Vee is ‘The Voice’ behind the Australian Whispering Jack show, a tribute to the music of John Farnham, which has toured Australia and internationally for almost two decades.
Over the years, Mike has garnered the praise and support of many Aussie music heavyweights.
John Farnham himself endorsed Mike’s tribute, saying he was honored to have a show dedicated to his music.
Australia’s Got Talent’s Danni Minogue said Mike’s performance was “unbelievable” and “the closest I’ve heard to John.”
The Newcastle Knights NRL team regularly invite Mike to sing Farnham songs at their stadium and he has also performed the National Anthem before games.
Mike’s amazing voice has also earned him leading roles in theatre productions such as Jesus Christ Superstar and Les Misérables, in Sydney, as well as his hometown of Tamworth.
Mike’s 2024 show features a new playlist and six-piece band. It promises to be an uplifting evening of entertainment, jam-packed with Farnham’s greatest hits including Age of Reason, Pressure Down, A Touch of Paradise and, of course, You’re the Voice, from Farnham’s legendary 1986 album, Whispering Jack.
