The Well Welcome: A Free Water & Hydration Workshop in Metro Detroit
About this Event
Curious about your drinking water?
Join us for The Well Welcome, a free educational workshop designed to help you better understand hydration, water quality, and the different types of electrolyzed reduced water available at Detroit Well.
Whether you're exploring healthier hydration, interested in reducing plastic waste, or preparing to become a Detroit Well member, this welcoming experience provides practical education, live demonstrations, and plenty of time for questions.
You'll also have the opportunity to fill a clean refillable vessel (up to one gallon) with freshly dispensed electrolyzed reduced water to take home.
What You'll Learn
During this interactive workshop, we'll cover:
- Why hydration is about more than simply drinking more water
- The differences between municipal tap water, bottled water, filtered water, and electrolyzed reduced water
- What pH, oxidation-reduction potential (ORP), and dissolved hydrogen are—and why they're part of the conversation around water quality
- The intended use of each water type available at Detroit Well
- How to safely use our self-service refill station
- How reusable refill systems can help reduce single-use plastic waste
- Practical ways to make more informed choices about your daily hydration
We'll finish with an open Q&A so you can ask questions and explore the Well.
