The Well w/ Pink Fuzz
About this Event
The Well
The Well is an Austin, Texas–based alternative psych/metal trio formed in 2011 by
guitarist/vocalist Ian Graham, bassist/vocalist Lisa Alley, and drummer Jason Sullivan. What
began in a central Austin garage—stripped down to acoustic guitar, bass drum, and dual
vocals—quickly evolved into a powerful, genre-blurring sound rooted in ’70s proto-metal, ’60s
psychedelia, Southern sludge, and New Wave.
Renowned for their immersive live performances, The Well rapidly gained momentum in the
Austin scene, leading to the self-release of their debut seven-inch single, “7,” which earned
attention from underground metal outlets and a notable write-up in Metal Hammer. In 2014, the
band released their debut full-length, Samsara, after signing with Riding Easy Records, followed
by Pagan Science and Death and Consolation.
After years of extensive touring across the U.S. and abroad—including collaborations with
Norman Reedus and AMC for the series Ride, and sharing stages with artists ranging from
Electric Wizard and High on Fire to Ty Segall and Chelsea Wolfe—The Well enters a new
chapter in 2026 with Spaceflight Records.
Their forthcoming album, ...And Flames Ran Like Living Animals, is slated for release in fall
2026.
Pink Fuzz
Pink Fuzz is a brother/sister led three-piece out of Denver made up of singer/guitarist John Demitro, singer/bassist LuLu Demitro joined by Will Trafas on the drums. Pink Fuzz came to fruition at the end of 2017. Quickly picking up steam and wanting to expand out of Denver, Pink Fuzz started touring extensively. Creating a DIY circuit throughout the country, they’ve built a grassroots fanbase that has anxiously been awaiting new releases. Finally, 4 years after their newest release “Resolution”, the band is putting us on track for a new album, produced by Kevin Mckeown (Black Pistol Fire) and mixed by Alain Johannes (Queens of the Stone Age, Chris Cornell, PJ Harvey, Arctic Monkeys). This has been their strongest body of work they’ve put out yet. The coined term “High-Speed Desert Rock” suits them; this album is fast-paced, dynamic and hard-hitting. “Resolution” released on September 19th - “The desert is a starting point, not the end of their reach. It’d be fair to call them songwriting-based if they didn’t also kick so much ass as players.” – The Obelisk”
After releasing singles for the album and getting picked up to support The Sword and Rickshaw Billies Burger Patrol on 25 dates fall of 2025 the band is getting busier and honing in their impressive live show - “Tight rock energy, shimmering melody and far out guitar solos, what’s not to like?...The siblings both sing, harmonising with one another, just adding that much more hypnotic momentum to their stonerish, doomy, psychedelic fuelled rock.” 4/5 stars – Metal Epidemic
