Lõppeva aasta enim auhindadele nomineeritud popstaar The Weeknd avalikustas oma maailmaturnee „After Hours til Dawn“ järgmised, 2023. aasta sihtpaigad ning nende hulgas on ka Tallinn. The Weeknd astub esmakordselt Eestis üles 12. augustil 2023. ?
Erikülalistena ühinevad Kaytranada ja Mike Dean.
Ajakava:
14:00 Mere ala avatud
16:00 Väravad
19:15 Mike Dean
20:00 Kaytranada
21:30 The Weeknd
23.30 orienteeruv lõpp
Turnee algab 10. juunil Suurbritannias, Manchesteris ning jõuab läbi erinevate Euroopa suurlinnade Tallinnasse 12. augustil 2023. Tuuri Põhja-Ameerika osa oli fantastiliselt edukas – purustati publikurekordeid ning praeguseks on kogutud üle 130 miljoni dollari, millest suur osa läheb heategevuseks.
Tuuriga „After Hours til Dawn“ tähistatakse The Weekndi 2020. aasta albumit „After Hours“. Selle hittsingel „Blinding Lights“ nimetati kõigi aegade uueks Billboardi Hot 100 lauluks nr 1, mis edestas Chubby Checkeri 1960. aasta hitti „The Twist“. 2022. aasta album „Dawn FM“ on samuti kriitikutelt kiidusõnu saanud. Euroopas astuvad The Weekndiga üles Kaytranada ja Mike Dean.
Abel Tesfaye on ka ÜRO Maailma Toiduprogrammi hea tahte suursaadik, mis tähendab, et turnee piletimüügist läheb mingi osa XO Humanitaarfondi, et leevendada ülemaailmset näljakriisi. Lisaks teevad annetusi turnee partnerid. „After Hours til Dawn“ peasponsor on ülemaailmne plokiahelasüsteem Binance. Iga pilet sisaldab Binance'i suveniirina NFT- d. Piletilevi võtab teiega hiljem ühendust ning saadab lunastuskoodi ja täpsema info, kuidas Binance’ilt oma NFT kätte saada. NFT saamiseks peate registreerima Binance'is konto ja taotlema NFT-d. Sellega ei liitu te Piletilevi uudiskirjaga, juhul kui te seda oma konto alt ei vali. Kõik küsimused palume suunata Binance'i klienditoele.
The Weeknd annab oma „After Hours til Dawn“ maailmaturnee raames kontserdi Tallinna Lauluväljakul 12. augustil 2023. Piletiinfo on leitav Piletilevi müügipunktides ja veebipoes.
