Wayne Brasel, guitarist from California, USA,
combines the best of jazz, blues, soul, and rock guitar with a post-bop approach to improvisation.
The music he composes is an eclectic blend of styles and influences that often defies categorization.
Performing as a sideman and with his own group, Wayne has played and recorded alongside many of the world's top musicians, including:, Alex Acuna, Abe Laborial, Vinnie Caliuta, Brian Blade, Daniello Perez, Richard Bona, Sheila Jordan, John Patitucci, Arild Andersen, Peter Erskine and Rick Margitza.
Wayne's has recorded six CD’s of his own compositions including his most recent recordings “Stavanger Songs” with a quintet of top Norwegian musicians , “Tanzanian Skies” with an ensemble made up of Tanzanian and Norwegian musicians, and his latest CD “If You Would Dance “ with Peter Erskine, Alan Pasqua and Tom Warrington. Wayne is also an
associate professor and heads up the guitar department at the University of Stavanger in Stavanger, Norway.

Musician’s singer” Cathy Segal-Garcia is a vocalist of “real music integrity” poignantly reports Critical Jazz reviewer. Wherever she travels in the world, audiences and musicians are moved. Segal- Garcia’s deep connection to rhythm and her earthy and organic voice brings a nakedness to her communication, a direct line in to one’s heart. Her repertoire includes original compositions and modern interpretations of standards and jazz musicians’ compositions.
Recording her 15 albums and performing with jazz legends is part of her career heritage. A sampling of noted musicians she has collaborated with include Ted Greene, Joe Diorio, Larry Koonse, Marc Johnson, Lorca Hart, Billy Childs, Marc Copland, John Beasley, Otmaro Ruiz, Anthony Wilson, Edwin Livingston, Jim Ridl, Nick Mancini, Joe LaBarbara and Josh Nelson. Legendary jazz drummer Peter Erskine, part of the trio on her “Song of The Heart” recording says, “[it’s] the freshest vocal project which I’ve ever been involved in, and it’s one of my favorites of the past year.”
Uli Langthaler : Uli Langthaler was born in 1959 in Austria, studied bass with R. Hansen at the Conservatory of Vienna 1987-1991. He was a member of the Orchester der Vereinigten Buhnen Wien. He has played with ( among others) Vienna Big Band Machine, Karl Ratzer, Rolend Neuwirth, Leo Wright, Ronny Bourage, Billy Harper, Lew Tabakin, Mike Stern, Frank Gambale, Phillip Catherine and Wayne Brasel. He teaches jazz bass , ensemble and improvisation at the Konservatorium der stadt Wien in Vienna , Austria.
