After an incredible gathering at Billie Holiday on the Vineyard, we invite you to join us for The Way We Were: Roxbury Black Wall Street 1900–1965 Conference II.
For two days, historians, researchers, community leaders, archivists, and descendants will come together to explore one of the most significant yet overlooked stories in American history. Through original research, oral histories, personal narratives, and thought-provoking discussions, we'll examine how Roxbury, Tulsa, and Oak Bluffs became interconnected centers of Black excellence, entrepreneurship, culture, and economic power.
This isn't simply about remembering the past. It's about reclaiming a history that helps shape our future.
