Four years to the day after its original live performance in Dallas, this breathtaking concert film returns to the city where that performance took place—uniting orchestral music, choral performance, stunning imagery, and Robert Redford’s final narration and spoken-word performance for The Way of the Rain.
Created and directed by environmental artist Sibylle Szaggars Redford, with music by Tim Janis and performance-film artistry by Floyd Thomas McBee, the film captures the original performance featuring the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Youth Choir.
We are honored to welcome creator Sibylle Szaggars Redford, conductor Julien Benichou and producer Gregory Leon Baird in person for this special evening. Join us for her opening remarks, experience the film on the big screen, and stay for a post-screening conversation and audience Q&A.
Presented as part of EarthX’s HALF-EARTH DAY® celebration, in partnership with the Dallas International Film Festival and the Dallas Museum of Art.
