The Way of Sacred Sound - one year practitioner training

A One-Year Training in Sound, Ceremony & Facilitation
Listening · Resonance · Presence
The Way of Sacred Sound is a year-long practitioner training for those who want to work with sound as more than a relaxation tool.
Across five in-person training weekends, we will explore the practical and subtle aspects of working with sound, ceremony and facilitation, developing the skills, confidence and experience to create grounded, responsive and meaningful sound experiences.
We will explore:
• The Art of Listening
• Working with Sound
• Sound & the Nervous System
• The Structure of Ceremony
• Archetypal Voices of Sound
• Holding Space
• Ceremony Design & Facilitation
• Practical techniques with gongs, Himalayan singing bowls and percussion
The year includes guided home practice, reflection and journal work, practical case studies, facilitated practice opportunities and optional one-to-one mentoring.
You won't simply learn techniques and then be sent off to figure it out alone. Experience is built gradually throughout the year, with guidance, observation and feedback before moving towards independent facilitation.
Why a year?
Learning to play an instrument can happen in a weekend.
Learning to listen deeply, hold space, respond to what is happening and facilitate meaningful experiences with sound takes considerably longer.
This training gives you time to learn, practise, make mistakes, reflect, receive feedback and grow into your own way of working.
No previous musical experience is required.
The training is suitable for yoga and wellbeing practitioners, therapists, space holders, ceremony facilitators, and anyone wanting to develop a deeper relationship with sound, listening and ceremonial practice.
