The lack of drinking water and sanitation has become a global human rights and environmental crisis in a world running out of clean water.
Canada has not taken care of its water heritage and is not immune to this crisis. The problem will only grow. Urgent change is needed.
In this lecture at University of St. Michael’s College, Sam Sorbara Auditorium, water rights activist Maude Barlow will share wise hope and realistic action to build a future where water is a shared commons, sacred gift, and human right.
Join us in person for light breakfast & coffee at 9 a.m.
Distancing, masking & three doses of a Health Canada-approved vaccine encouraged.
Maude Barlow is an author and activist, a founding member of the Council of Canadians, and the founder of the Blue Planet Project. In 2022, she published her new book: Still Hopeful: Lessons From a Lifetime of Activism.
Sponsored by our CSJ Ministry for Social Justice, Peace, and Creation Care.
