On Saturday 6th December at The Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds Rock City, we're hosting Washing Machine's Christmas Party, featuring five amazing artists from around our sceptred region. Headlining the show are Norwich's jaw-droppingly brilliant masters of the musical maelstrom MAGNOLIA, currently touring their debut LP 'Omaha': an astonishing statement that perfectly captures their ability to build and switch between the raging and the sublime, the perfect storm of tenderness and intensity - music as a whole-body experience. Co-headlining with Magnolia are Bury's undisputed Kings of white knuckle garage rock kinesis, THE VITAMINS, whose festive gift to you all is to show you how it's done. Supporting we have rising punk-metal prophets THE FIFTH FLAW, and a brace of brand new brilliance bringers: VELVET TIE (featuring members of the utterly ace Half Return) and THE DISAGREEMENT.

There is a fully-licensed bar on the premises (open until 1am). No ID, no alcohol.
THE HUNTER CLUB IS A SAFE SPACE
We take audience safety very seriously at The Hunter Club, and strongly believe that gigs can and should be safe spaces, free from harassment, intimidation, prejudice, bullying and violence. We expect that all artists, venue staff and attendees will respect our values, and we have a zero tolerance policy towards those who do not. Anyone who endangers the enjoyment and safety of others at a Washing Machine night will be ejected and barred. It is unfortunate that in the 21st Century we still have to say this stuff, but we hope that by doing so we can help to create an atmosphere where everyone feels safe and able to enjoy themselves.
