Join us for an insightful evening led by combat veteran and psychotherapist Adam Magers, MA, LPC, as he explores The Odyssey through the lens of Jungian psychology. In his book, Odysseus & the Oar: Healing After War and Military Service, Adam examines the archetype of the warrior’s return—a powerful symbol present in ancient myths and the dreams of today’s veterans.This event offers a unique perspective on the struggles veterans face upon returning from service, challenging traditional support methods with a broader approach grounded in Jungian principles. Attendees will also participate in breakout discussions, exploring mythic symbols and the healing journey for veterans.
