The Wants is the New York City band founded in 2017 by songwriter, guitarist, and producer Madison Velding-VanDam alongside drummer Jason Gates. The group operates as an adversarial network of ideas — grounded songwriting playfully colliding with unstable rhythms, mutated electronics, and live instrumentation.
After signing with London-based Council Records, The Wants released their debut album, Container (2020), named after their shipping-container-turned-rehearsal space in a Brooklyn parking lot.
MEK'DR'DR

Mek'Dr'Dr is een Brussels duo, bestaande uit Mien Heyvaert (zang, bas) en Sara De Wit (zang, percussie). Met groovy baslijnen als basis, bouwen ze een minimalistische post-punk sound die lustig wordt opgesmukt door strakke ritmes die chaotisch uit auto remschijven en IKEA-slakommen wordt geperst.
In 2022, midden in de creatieve smeltkroes van Werkplaats Walter (Kuregem), zag Mek'Dr'Dr het licht. Hungeluid is een speelse verkenning van menselijke verbindingen, maatschappelijke normen en de absurditeiten van het leven.
Geïnspireerd door de lelijkheid van Vlaamse lintbebouwing, de vroege ochtendspits in volkscafés en de DIY-mentaliteit van bands zoals Young Marble Giants en The Slits, hebben ze een schattig dansbare geluid gecreëerd. Hun debuut-EP, No Safer Place Than a Toilet Seat, is een wilde rit door thema's als liefde en empathisch.

Magasin is a music group that bounces around on the playful side of no wave, post-punk and art pop. Multilingual lyrics and layers of musical notes are folded in half and stapled at the fold.
Imagine Lizzy Mercier Descloux or The Raincoats accompanied by the rigid minimalist pulse of The Normal.
Magasin’s music is quirky and fun in a detached, slightly absurdist way.
Founded by Michiel Klein (guitars) and Lola Diaz Cantoni (vocals) in 2024, Magasin became a quartet with Milo Mooi Wilten on bass guitar and Daanie van den IJssel on guitar.
SCRATCH+SNUFF/KLUB9030 – Beekstraat 46F, Mariakerke/Drongen bevindt zich aan de ingang van de Vinderhoutse Bossen, gemakkelijk bereikbaar via de R4, afrit Vinderhoute. Er is een parking voor auto's en fietsen. Dottfietsen geraken er ook.
