THE DMV Holiday Hockey Tradition Continues!
THE WALLY CUP is the original 3 v 3 tourney in the entire DMV area starting in 2004. Held on December 26th every year, The Wally Cup has seen former players go to the NHL, like William Nylander of the Toronto Maple Leafs and his brother Alex of Chicago Black Hawks.
Teams of 6 skaters and 1 goalie compete in cross-ice, pond hockey style games for the championship.
Teams will be registered on a first come, first served basis and divisions will be filled accordingly. So register your teams now!
Elite Divisions of AA/AAA player teams and Competitive Divisions of A/B level player teams will be fielded. 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, & 16U Divisions will be fielded, if possible.
Six (6) team divisions will play at Skate Quest in Reston and four (4) team divisions will play at Loudoun Ice Centre in Sterling. 8U Divisions will play at Loudoun Ice Centre.
Costs are $420.00 per team for Skate Quest Divisions and $350.00 per team for Loudoun Ice Centre Divisions.
Champions and Finalists receive medals.
The Wally Cup is often imitated, but NEVER duplicated!
