The Walker Family Band embraces making music in the home, which is as natural to us as eating, and luckily, it usually happens right after dinner!! Jennie Brunner, Scott Walker’s daughter started at age three, and is now leading the band with her wonderful fiddle, and newfound vocals! Landon, a long-standing jazz bassist, picked up the accordion to join Scott’s Irish fiddle and guitar. With our varied backgrounds, we have become a melting pot, writing and performing tunes in a variety of styles! We thrive on supporting each other’s tunes!For August 28th they are becoming a 3 generational band! Jennie’s Mom, Carole Shoaf, violin, is a proud member of the 1 st generation, and her granddaughter, Claire Brunner claims the 3rd generation, coming in with vocals and fiddle!! We have 2 special members of our extended family playing with us, both very fine cellists, Linda Minke and her son, Victor Hulls. We hope that what you see on stage is a rehearsed reenactment of those home style jam sessions!
